Commander David Noble is a 28-year veteran of law enforcement and is an original member of the City of Miami Gardens Police Department. Before accepting the position of Police Officer with the City of Miami Gardens, he worked as a Police Officer for the City of Thornton Police Department located in Colorado. Commander Noble holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, is a graduate of the Southern Police Institutes Command Officer Development Course, and has completed the FBI LEEDA’s Supervisor, Managerial, and Executive Leadership programs where he earned the Trilogy Award. Additionally, Commander Noble is a graduate of the Florida Leadership Academy and has worked in the capacity of a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Crisis Negotiator, Recruiter, Background Investigator, Recruit Academy Coordinator, Major Crimes Detective specializing in Robbery and Homicide investigations, and a DARE Instructor. Commander Noble was promoted to Sergeant in June of 2012, where he was a Patrol Sergeant, an investigative Supervisor, and a Sergeant/Investigator in the Internal Affairs Unit. Commander Noble was promoted to the rank of Captain in October of 2019 and was assigned to patrol where he was responsible for managing a platoon of four (4) sergeants and twenty-one (21) police Officers. Commander Noble was promoted to the rank of Commander in February of 2024 and is currently assigned to the Professional Compliance Unit.
