Special Investigations Section Captain
Captain Williams joined the Miami Gardens Police Department in 2007. He served assignments with the State Attorney’s Office Money Laundering Task Force. In 2014, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned to the Operations Division. He is currently the Captain of the Special Investigations Section of the Investigations Division . He has 27 years of experience with the City of Miami Police Department with assignments in Mounted Patrol, Vice, Narcotics, Dignitary Protection and money laundering. He served detachments with the FBI, DEA, U.S. Customs and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
