This 0% interest, 5 year loan program, will provide comprehensive mitigation and hardening for eligible properties located in the City of Miami Gardens. Please be advised that the funding for this program is limited. Please click here to apply.

As an Entitlement City under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Miami Gardens Community Service Department recognizes the need to supplement social service programs intended for low-to-moderate income residents.

My Safe FL Home
The My Safe Florida Home Program is now open and accepting applications for free hurricane home inspections. Owners of single-family residential Florida property may apply for a free home hurricane inspection. The owner will receive an inspection report and recommended improvements. Eligible applicants may then apply for program grant money for home strengthening improvements.
