The City of Miami Gardens Code Enforcement & Business Licensing Department, is an active community partner. Our objective is to create a friendly environment that fosters cooperation from the community to keep the city blight free and aesthetically pleasing. Code Enforcement is designed to promote voluntary compliance and as such, the entire Code Enforcement & Business Licensing team works tirelessly to provide information and assistance to make the city remain beautiful- one property at a time. Our Housing unit enforces the Re-occupancy ordinance to ensure the integrity and safety of all structures within the city. The Business Licensing unit focuses on maintaining business compliance with the City of Miami Gardens Licensing requirements; from the initial stage to yearly renewals.
