1. What are the requirements to become a School Crossing Guard?

To be eligible for consideration all candidates:
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must be able to work PT (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
-Must be able to pass the Pedestrian Crossing State Exam
-Must be able to pass a background, drug test, and physical exam

2. What schools do you provide services for?

We currently provide services to Public Elementary Schools in the Miami Gardens' area, based on need.

3. What are the duty times for School Crossing Guards?

School Crossing Guards work for a total of 4 hours a day. The morning shift is from 7 AM-9 AM. The afternoon shift varies from 1 PM-4:30 PM, depending on the location of the school.

4. How do you determine where a School Crossing Guard is placed?

School Crossing Guards are placed in areas where it is unsafe for elementary children to cross alone. The primary goal of the guard is to assist and educate elementary students in safe crossing at busy streets and highways as they travel to and from school.
