1. When and where is Teen Court held?

Teen Court is held in multiple locations throughout Miami-Dade County and on different days of the week.  

• Mondays – Richard E. Gerstein Building, Courthouse Museum located at 1351 NW 12 Street, Courtroom 1 -3, Miami, FL 33125
• Tuesdays – South Dade Government Center located at 10710 SW 211 Street, Courtroom 2-2, Miami, FL 33189
• Wednesdays – North Dade Justice Center located at 15555 Biscayne Boulevard, Courtroom 2-7, Miami, FL 33160
• Thursdays (1st Thursday of each month) – Miami Gardens City Hall Council Chambers located at 18605 NW 27 Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056
• Thursdays (2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursday of each month) – Hialeah City Hall Commission Chambers located at 501 Palm Avenue Third Floor, Hialeah, FL 33010

2. What are the benefits of Teen Court?

Teen Courts provides youth, volunteers and participants an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a non-traditional judicial process. It also exposes youth to various career opportunities within the legal and criminal justice system.
