Purpose & Overview
The Miami Gardens Police Department provides fingerprint services for city residents. Residents can be fingerprinted by our Department in certain circumstances such as employment, housing, concealed weapon permit, security license permit, and personal record purposes. Additionally, some federal and state agencies require applicants to be fingerprinted for certain traveling and licensing purposes, and this service if provided.
Service Process
Fingerprinting is done on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The cost is $5.00 per card for Miami Gardens residents. We accept cash, money orders, checks, debit and credit cards. Fingerprints are processed on a Live Scan machine; however the fingerprints are not electronically submitted. Please also bring a valid government issued photo ID (Florida driver’s license or Florida ID card) with proof of Miami Gardens residency listed on ID card.
